Save the Date! The opening reception for my solo show is Friday, September 6th, 2019, 5-7:30 pm.

I’ve been working for over a year on these 20-some new paintings. Most feature the Virginia countryside, scenes from Rockbridge County and a few Lexington city-scapes. Can’t wait to share these with you!

I have some sad news — two of my three galleries needed to close their doors last year. They were so wonderful to work with and am of course so sad to see them go.

I tried my hand at that redbud again. 💜 this one turned out more pink than purple, but still loads of fun to throw paint around again. Redbuds study 2, 6x6 oil.
Dipping my toes back in after almost a 3 month leave. The little baby and toddlers are finally resting at the same time (except for today). Monday Post, 9x12, oil . I was struck by the morning dappled light on the crisp uniforms of these VMI keydets. There’s a peek of the barracks on the left and the academic buildings to the right.
